Hello everyone, if you don’t know me, I’m Lily, the founder and creative spirit behind the Subtle Love Tees monthly graphic tees club. Recently, I had the honor of attending and presenting at a vibrant women’s event in Portland, Oregon called Women, Success & Sanity. It was an experience that not only highlighted the support and strength among women but also mirrored the very essence of what Subtle Love Tees stands for – love and inspiration subtly woven into life’s fabric.
The Power of Women Supporting Women
Walking into the event, I was immediately struck by the energy and camaraderie in the building, which was one of the most beautiful workplaces I’d ever seen. There’s something profoundly uplifting about being in a space filled with women who are genuinely interested in lifting each other up.
I was surprised by the overwhelming support from my fellow women. Their smiles, their keen interest in my journey, and their shared stories of resilience formed a tapestry (hint of our next tee design) of collective empowerment that was both humbling and inspiring.
A Source of Inspiration Amidst Motherhood
One of the highlights of my experience was setting up my presentation. Life, as many of you know, is a juggling act, and more so when you are a mother to two young, energetic boys. As I laid out my vision behind Subtle Love Tees, my boys were in the background, entertaining themselves and, unknowingly, becoming part of my story.
This moment, captured beautifully in the blog post’s main image, reflects the real essence of my journey – balancing motherhood with my passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. It was a scene that resonated with many in the audience, a reminder that our roles and responsibilities are part of what makes our stories unique and inspiring.
Inspiration Feeding Creativity: The “Beginnings” Tee
Not too long after the event, I unveiled our newest design, “Beginnings,” which holds a special place in my heart. As we step into the new year, “Beginnings” symbolizes hope, renewal, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead. This design, inspired by the stories and the strength of the women I’ve met, is a representation of how every end leads to new beginnings. It’s a reminder to embrace each new chapter with love and optimism.
Looking Forward to More Connections
As Subtle Love Tees moves forward, I am excited about the prospect of bonding with more women supporters. Each design we create is not just a piece of clothing; it’s a narrative, an expression of the subtle yet powerful messages of love and inspiration that we encounter in our daily lives.
The event in Portland was not just an opportunity to showcase my work but a chance to connect with and be inspired by amazing women, many of whom are now part of the Subtle Love Tees family.
