Hey there, lovely readers! I’m Lily, and I couldn’t be more excited to share my thoughts and experiences with you today. August is a special month for my company because we are about to launch a brand-new t-shirt graphic, and its name says it all: “Courage.”
But why choose courage as the central theme for a design inspired by love? Let me take you on a journey into my heart and show you how these two powerful characteristics are deeply intertwined.
Courage is the backbone of love; it gives us the strength to face our fears, speak our truths, and embrace vulnerability. As I built my company, I quickly realized that being courageous was not only vital in business but also in spreading love and positivity. Putting my designs out there for scrutiny was no easy task, but it was essential to share my passion for love-inspired messages with the world.
I Encountered Critics (which I found out is a good sign)
As an entrepreneur, I’ve had my fair share of negative comments and criticisms. Some people found my ideas too “soft” for the world of fashion, while others doubted the impact of spreading love through clothing. One particular comment stood out, saying, “Who would even buy these shirts? Love doesn’t sell!” Those words hit me hard, but they also fueled the fire in my heart.
At times, it felt like the world was asking me to water down my message or change my path, but I knew that staying true to my vision was my only option. I had to find the courage to stand tall, even when faced with doubt, and that’s when something incredible happened. Love from others started pouring in, empowering me to keep going.
Our Customers Rock
My customers began sharing stories of how our tees had touched their lives, how they’d worn them during difficult times, and how they’d gifted them to friends in need of a little love. These heartwarming messages were like rays of sunshine, breaking through the clouds of negativity that had threatened to overshadow my journey.
The courage to keep moving forward despite the odds taught me the importance of staying connected to love and support. Friends, family, and even complete strangers showed me that the love I was trying to spread was real and needed in this world. Their kindness lifted my spirits and became a source of inspiration to create more love-inspired designs.
Now, as I look ahead to more opportunities for growth through courage, I can’t help but feel grateful for every challenge I’ve faced. Each obstacle has taught me valuable lessons about resilience and staying true to my passion. I am eagerly anticipating the release of our “Courage” t-shirt graphic in August, as it will be a constant reminder to myself and others that love and courage go hand in hand.
